Alumni Voices: Teaching Through Film: How to Choose Powerful Movies for Learning

About the Event

Teaching Through Film explores how cinema can be used as an educational tool in university teaching and beyond. One of Mikhail’s first discoveries in the US was a university library filled with books and videos — and he is eager to share this experience. Each film covered in the webinar is a pearl, presenting not only a director’s masterpiece but also shedding light on many topics studied at university, such as history, philosophy, psychology, and economics.

The international film collection provides an excellent visual portrayal of important concepts and ideas. Every recommended film creates emotional impact and engagement, helping to change the world for the better.
