Alumni Council

The Connexions Alumni Council, launched for the first time in 2025, is a group of dedicated volunteer alumni representing a wide range of professional and academic backgrounds. The Council is a link between the broader alumni community and the Connexions team, helping shape meaningful opportunities and initiatives that reflect alumni interests and priorities.

In addition to its advisory role, the Alumni Council leads several ongoing initiatives that bring the community together throughout the year.

Whether you have an idea, a question, or just want to get involved, the Council is here to listen and stay connected.

Collaborate

One of the Council’s key roles is to suggest new and engaging projects that bring together alumni from different backgrounds and create hands-on learning experiences.

If you would like to see a speaker from your exchange experience lead a project or course on a timely topic or practical skill, reach out to the Alumni Council and share your suggestions.

Lead

Council members are true leaders. They lead by example and help create a positive, supportive culture within the network. The Council encourages alumni to work toward shared goals in an inclusive and welcoming environment, while highlighting the value of resilience and mutual support. Ultimately, the Council’s mission is to help alumni grow and reach their potential.

    Inspired by professional meetups and business community events, the Alumni Voices is designed to help you discover what others in our network are working on and find inspiration for your own initiatives. The Alumni Voices events will also feature exciting news and updates from the Connexions team and Alumni Council.

    Alumni After Hours is an informal monthly gathering where alumni and Alumni Council members come together to catch up, share ideas, and build connections. Whether you’re looking to reconnect with old friends, meet new people, or simply enjoy a casual conversation, this is the perfect opportunity to engage with fellow alumni in a relaxed setting.

    The Business Book Club is a biweekly series inviting alumni to read and discuss some of the most influential books in business, leadership, and personal development. Each session offers a space to reflect on powerful ideas, exchange perspectives, connect with like-minded professionals — and to practice English!
