Alumni Council
The Connexions Alumni Council, launched for the first time in 2025, is a group of dedicated volunteer alumni representing a wide range of professional and academic backgrounds. The Council serves as a link between the broader alumni community and the Connexions team, helping shape meaningful opportunities and initiatives that reflect alumni interests and priorities.
In addition to its advisory role, the Alumni Council leads several ongoing initiatives that bring the community together throughout the year.

Inspired by professional meetups and business community events, the ALUMNI VOICES is designed to help you discover what others in our network are working on - and find inspiration for your own initiatives. This session will also feature updates from the Connexions team and Alumni Council.

Alumni After Hours is an informal monthly gathering where alumni and Alumni Council members come together to catch up, share ideas, and build connections. Whether you’re looking to reconnect with old friends, meet new people, or simply enjoy a casual conversation, this is the perfect opportunity to engage with fellow alumni in a relaxed setting.
Business book club
The Business Book Club is a biweekly series inviting alumni to read and discuss some of the most influential books in business, leadership, and personal development. Each session offers a space to reflect on powerful ideas, exchange perspectives, connect with like-minded professionals committed to growth — and to practice English!

Connect.
The Connexions Alumni Council (X Council) will drive networking and engagement through Telegram and other social media platforms. Members of the council will also be available for consultation and will be open to input from all members of the alumni network on programming, offerings, and events. Reach out through the Council’s dedicated Telegram channel.

Collaborate.
One of the key responsibilities of the Council is to propose new and interesting projects to engage diverse alumni and create experiential learning opportunities, even in virtual settings. While every course contains some key interactive components and requires participants to produce content, council members will be instrumental in guiding team-building activities and joint projects.

Lead.
Above all, Council members are expected to lead by example and foster a culture of excellence in the network. The Council will guide and help alumni work towards a common goal while fostering an inclusive environment, emphasizing the importance of building resilience. Ultimately, the Council aims to empower alumni to reach their potential and drive collective success.
Events &
networking subcommitee.
The Networking Subcommittee is responsible for brainstorming fresh and innovative ways to spark lasting and effective connection among alumni globally. The subcommittee will choose speakers that are relevant and interesting and also produce icebreaker events and more.
Media subcommittee.
The Media Subcommittee is critical to expanding the reach and efficacy of the network. Responsible for content creation and driving engagement on social platforms, the subcommittee will also help alumni who are interested in building their own online presence and increasing their digital footprint for professional development purposes.
