Are you a Russian exchange program alumnus passionate about giving back to the alumni community? Do you want to help shape the future of alumni engagement, foster meaningful connections, and amplify the voices of your peers? The Connexions Alumni Council is looking for you!
The Connexions Alumni Council serves as an advisory and support body for the Connexions Alumni Program. Its mission is to guide program development and promote active alumni engagement, ensuring delivery of professional development, networking, and collaborative opportunities for U.S. exchange alumni from Russia.
As part of this year’s selection, the Connexions Alumni Network aims to bring together a group of alumni representing a wide variety of U.S. exchange programs, professional fields, and regions of Russia and worldwide. We are looking for individuals whose experiences and perspectives can help ensure that the Alumni Council reflects the scope of the alumni community.
Term length and membership:
Term: 9 months, starting on the 15th of the first month, with the option to extend based on active participation;
Size: 15 members to ensure diversity and representation;
Commitment details: 2-4 hours a week, plus you need to be able to attend a monthly planning meeting on Zoom and an annual Alumni Council event.
This is a pro-bono opportunity, ideal for alumni who are:
Well-connected within the alumni network and/or passionate about establishing connections;
Willing to lead virtual sessions or recruit experts;
Equipped with tools and motivation to maintain alumni engagement;
Ready to be a voice for the community.
